Established in 1964 by Múcio de Souza Rezende, in the city of Maringá, Paraná State, Brazil, Caramuru Group belongs today to the Borges de Souza family.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and focus on the quality of its products, it has grown, explored new niches, consolidated in the market and became the main Brazilian group in the processing of soy, corn, sunflower and canola.
Present today in the states of Goiás, Paraná, Mato Grosso and São Paulo, it operates in the animal, industrial, consumer products, commodities, biodiesel and logistics segments.
Through several natural product lines made from soy, corn, sunflower and canola, we serve customers from different regions of Brazil. We also supply raw materials for manufacturers of pasta, biscuits, snacks, cornflakes and other segments, such as breweries, mining companies and the feed industry.
The Caramuru Group also stands out for its products and grains transport logistics, with heavy investments in the Port of Santos and Port of Tubarão, in railroads and the Tietê-Paraná waterway, favoring the use of multimodal transport and decreasing operational costs.
